USING A PENDULUM

   The pendulum is a washer, nut, or small object tied to a string or small chain about five to six inches in length.   You can easily make your own or you can purchase a fancy one from a psychic shop. Crystal, gemstones, or metal work fine.                        

    It is a wonderful tool for locating problems to be addressed on self or others, for determining if a procedure is running, or when an action is completed.

   Hold the string, allowing the object to dangle.  Asking for a “YES” will cause the pendulum to begin swinging.  For most, “YES” will be a forward and backward motion, or a circular clockwise motion, while a “NO” will usually be a side–to-side motion, or a counterclockwise circle.  However, for some “YES” and “NO” may be reversed.  Take whatever response is correct for you.

   You will discover that you can influence the motion by your thoughts or intention, so you must learn to keep your mind totally neutral for an answer to manifest accurately. 

   It is not the pendulum giving you answers, but it is your “Higher Self” who has all the answers, which you have previously agreed to hide from yourself during your stay on this planet.  With practice, and an open mind, your ability to use the pendulum will improve.
